Drama School Holiday Programs for Kids At Play on Stage

Easter chocolates have been consumed, there's no early morning school drop-offs, it must be time for school holiday!

School holidays are a time for young people to have fun with their friends and explore their creativity in new, exciting ways. At Play on Stage, we have always strived to deliver holiday programs that help our students express their imagination and grow as young performers alongside their friends and our experienced facilitators.

These Easter school holidays will be no different! We have created thoughtful and engaging programs for both Early and Upper Primary students that we confident will be one of the highlights of your child's holidays. 'THE TREEHOUSE OF STORIES' PLAY IN A WEEK PROGRAM

Monday the 13th of April - Thursday the 16th of April, 9AM-3PM

Ages: Prep – Grade Seven

What story would you tell to your friends in a treehouse?

In this theatre program, participants will work with the Play on Stage facilitating team to create their own play in response to the concept of ‘The Treehouse of Stories’. This program will be split into an Early Primary Group (Prep-Grade Two) and an Upper Primary/Junior Teen Group (Grades Three- Grade Seven)

This program will see participants explore their playwrighting, improvisation skills, acting skills and their collaborative skills as they work together as an ensemble to transform their ideas onto the stage. The participants will be performing their plays in the final half an hour of their program.

Participants must be able to attend all four days of the program.

PLAY IN A DAY PROGRAM.

Friday the 17th of April, 9AM-3PM

Ages: Prep- Grade Seven

This theatre program will see participants nurture select skills of acting, performance and improvisation while applying it to an age specific text.

Participants will be split between early and upper primary grouping.

WHERE: Rosalie Baptist Church Hall, 97 Fernberg Rd, Paddington.

COST: $99
