Upcoming Auditions.
We have performer call out for performers of all ages to be a part of our 'Birthday Bash' cabaret evening at Play on Stage. This event will be on the evening of Saturday the 28th of March, starting at 7pm in Paddington.
This is a fundraising evening, with all proceeds going towards our Australian Cultural Fund fundraiser campaign. This means that none of our staff on site or our performers will be paid for this event..
What we are looking for.
Acts that are under five minutes that require minimal tech. This could be reciting a monologue, singing a musical item, a comedy skit... we are open to everything appropriate for an audience of families and members of the arts community.
To audition.
If you have a performance item, we would love for you to record yourself doing that item and to send it our director Virag at virag@playonstage.com.au. The final cut-off date to receive self tapes is Wednesday the 11th of March.
Work Experience and Internships
We provide work experiences and internships for high school students and emerging artists. These experiences range from shadowing one of our facilitators to sitting in on one of our rehearsals for an upcoming production.
