HOME SCHOOL DRAMA.

Play on Stage’s Brisbane Homeschool Drama Program

Learning is at its most powerful when young people feel free to imagine boldly, express openly, and grow confidently. That’s why we created Play on Stage’s Homeschool Drama Program, specifically designed to meet the needs of Brisbane homeschooled students and their families, launching in Term 1, 2026.

For homeschooled young people aged 6–18, our program provides students with a vibrant, community-driven space to explore their creativity, develop real-world communication skills, and experience the joy that comes from artistic expression. No previous drama experience is required, just curiosity and a willingness to play.

Each week, students step into a safe, supportive environment led by our team of highly experienced professional facilitators. Together, we dive into the foundations of drama, improvisation, stagecraft, creative writing, and collaborative performance. As the term progresses, young artists build towards an end-of-term performance for friends, family, and the Play on Stage community.

For homeschooling parents seeking a program that brings connection, confidence, and creativity into their child’s routine, our 2026 program offers a joyful weekly anchor point, one that nurtures both personal and artistic growth. We can’t wait to welcome you into our community!

Why choose home-school drama?

0ur Brisbane homeschool-specific program meets the unique needs of young learners by building core life skills through purposeful play. Through drama, students strengthen their confidence, emotional intelligence, and self-expression. They learn to collaborate, problem-solve, listen actively, and communicate confidently skills your child will use forever.

Drama empowers young people to take creative risks in a safe space. It encourages them to speak up, try new ideas, embrace their imagination, and discover their authentic voice.  We’re building confidence, cultivating community, and giving young people the tools to shine, on and off the stage.
